  1. How do I remove the "Read-Only" attribute from my files?

    1. Select the file(s) that you copied to your hard drive.

    2. Right-click the selected file(s) and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.

    3. In the Attributes section make sure that the "Read-Only" checkbox is unchecked.

    Note: depending on your version of Windows, you may need to select each file individually and change the attributes.
