Why can't I edit the files on the CD?
Files on a CD-ROM are "Read-Only" by default, as you cannot save a file back to a CD. To edit a
file and save your changes, you must either copy it to your hard drive and remove the "Read-only"
attribute, or select "File - Save As" to save the file to your hard drive. Now that the file is on your hard drive, open
the appropriate application and make your changes from there.
Please note that some files are "Protected". You will not be able to edit a file that is protected.
