The venerable newspaper has been the primary medium people have turned to for the news of the day for more than 100 years. While often not as flashy as magazines or immediate as radio and television, newspapers continue to defy predictions of their demise at the hands of the other media. Indeed, many newspapers have established attractive, rich Web sites which allow them to update the news as it happens without waiting until the next day's press run - immediacy and flexibility which, until now, has eluded the printed word. Many Internet newspapers even allow readers to customize the "look" of the paper, choosing which types of stories and photographs they receive.
