Student Navigation Guide/User Manual
The Student Navigation Guide provides a summary of the characters and issues students will find in the Neighbourhood as well as basic information on how to navigate and get the most out of using the Neighbourhood. Students can download the Navigation Guide after they log into their Neighbourhood account.

The Student Quick Start Guide has all of the information that you need to get started with The Canadian Neighbourhood.
Registration Help
To register for The Canadian Neighbourhood, you will need:
- A student access code. The code is available for purchase in your bookstore. Your unique code will look something like this:
SMPLE – FRILL – TONLE – WEIRS - CHOIR – FLEES.
If you don't have an access code, you can purchase immediate access on this site by following these instructions. - A valid email account. Use an account you'll keep for the duration of your course.
How to register a student access code
- Go to the student registration page, select "Yes, I have an access code," and click "Next."
- Read the Pearson License Agreement and Privacy Policy and click "I accept."
- Answer the "Do you have a Pearson Education account?" question.
- If Yes – Fill in your username and password. This will allow you to use the same username and password you use for your other Pearson products.
- If No – Create a username and password per the guidelines provided.
- If Not Sure – Enter your email address and click Search.
- Check or enter required information in the appropriate fields.
- Review and print your Confirmation and Summary page. A confirmation will also be sent to your email address. Be sure to take note of your username and password.

How to buy access
- Go to the student registration page, select "No, I need to buy access," and click "Next."
- Read the Pearson License Agreement and Privacy Policy and click "I accept."
