This site has been designed to complement
the Canadian edition of Technical Communication, by Don
Klepp and John Lannon. The site includes: |
- Technical writing examples:
a user's manual; a process description report and a
feasibility report
- Writing exercises: the
Chapter 11 exercises; editing a "foggy" letter;
analyzing paragraphs
- WebConnections: this site
has over 100 links to other useful Web sites, listed chapter
by chapter
- Errata
- On-line Instructor's Manual:
this part of the site is reserved for instructors who have
adopted Technical Communication. Admission to the
Instructor's Manual requires the visitor to use a username and
password, which will be issued through Pearson Education
Canada campus representatives.
The Manual includes:
- answers for the Chapter 11 exercises, the letter editing
exercise, and the paragraph analysis exercise
- additional exercises and class activities
- assignment evaluation forms

We will continue to add to this site and to make Technical
Communication the most comprehensive, practical, and readable
technical writing text designed for Canadian technical writers. If
you have ideas for improving future editions of the book or
suggestions for improving this Web site, please e-mail me at donklepp@junction.net.
Sincerely,
Don Klepp |
