What is eText?

eText is online, interactive text. With eText you can:

hear the whole text read aloud, and see words highlight as they are read
search in the text
use the interactive glossary

How to use your eText

Only one student at a time can be logged in using the username and password of a given book. It is important to make sure students Sign Out at the end of their session. Failure to do so will prevent others from using that username and password until the computer cache is cleared (which, depending on computer or network setup, can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours).

The eText App for iPad and Android:

lets you access eText titles on a tablet (not available on smartphones)
includes all the features of your browser-based eText
keeps your most recent eText signed in; sign out to view a new eText
requires a minimum of iOS 5.0 or Honeycomb v3.1 and a valid
Pearson eText username and password
